Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Kingdom Clobber (“we”, “us”). By playing Kingdom Clobber (on the website or in the iPhone app) or buying anything in it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t play.

2. Who can play

• You must be at least 13 years old. Kingdom Clobber is not for children under 13, and they may not use it.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in most places), a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you, must approve any purchase, and is responsible for your use of the game.
• You may not play if you have been banned from Kingdom Clobber or if the law forbids it.

3. The game

Kingdom Clobber is a cartoon strategy game: cartoon armies march across a board, smash castle walls and topple kingdoms. Seasonal events add silly cartoon zombies, bats, pumpkins and the “Spooky Dooky” stink cloud. There is no realistic violence, blood or gore. Opponents may be computer-controlled bots; bots show pre-written jokes, which you can turn off with Bot chatter in Settings.

• Limited-time events. Zombie Night is a Halloween event that ends automatically at the end of October 31, 2026 (by midnight Pacific Time at the latest); from November 1 every match is the standard castle battle. We may extend, change or end events. Event cosmetics you already earned or bought stay yours.
• Founder’s Pack. Sold until midnight Eastern Time at the end of December 31, 2026 (12:00 AM ET on January 1, 2027), and then no longer offered. It includes 500 gems, the Founder castle skin, a Founder badge on the leaderboards and +25 gems you can claim once a day for 30 days after purchase. If the purchase is refunded or charged back, the skin, badge and remaining daily gems end.
• Treasure chests and in-match items are free gameplay rewards. We do not sell random-reward items for real money.

4. Your account and backup code

You don’t need an email to play: an account is created automatically on your device. Under Settings you can view a backup code that moves or restores your account on another device.

• Treat the backup code like a password. Anyone who has it can use your account and spend your gems. Don’t share it. We will never ask for it.
• If you clear your browser or lose your device without saving the code, we may not be able to recover the account, its gems or its purchases.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it any time in Settings → Delete account.

5. Gems and virtual items

• Gems, cosmetics and other in-game items are virtual items. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them in the game. You don’t own them.
• Virtual items have no cash value. They can’t be exchanged for real money, sold, traded or moved to another player, and they are never refunded as cash except as described in the Refund Policy or required by law.
• We may change, rebalance or retire items and prices. We will not take away items you paid for without good reason, such as fraud, a refund, a chargeback or a breach of these Terms.

6. Purchases

• Website: prices are shown and charged in US dollars by our payment processor, Stripe. Sales tax or VAT is calculated by Stripe Tax where it applies and shown at checkout before you pay. Your bank may add currency conversion or other fees.
• iPhone app: when in-app purchases are available there, they are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, at the price shown in the App Store, under Apple’s terms. Apple handles payment, tax and refunds for those purchases.
• Items are delivered to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. Some payment methods take longer to confirm.
• Purchases are final once delivered, except where the law requires otherwise. See the Refund Policy for when we can help.
• EU/UK consumers: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because items are delivered right away, you ask us to start delivery immediately when you pay and you agree that you lose the right of withdrawal once they are delivered.
• If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, we may remove the items bought with it, or the gems spent from it.

7. Community rules

There is no chat in Kingdom Clobber; your display name is the only thing you write that others see. Please don’t:

• use names that are sexual, hateful, harassing, violent, impersonate someone, or contain personal information such as a real full name, address or phone number;
• cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or scripts, or tamper with the game, its servers or other players’ accounts;
• harass other players, or use the game for anything illegal.

Offensive names are replaced automatically. Players can report or block names; we review reports within 24 hours, and we may rename, hide from leaderboards, suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, and remove scores we believe are invalid. To report anything else, email kingdomclobbersupport@gmail.com.

8. Our content

The game, its art, music, code, names and logos belong to us or our licensors. You may share screenshots and videos of your games for non-commercial purposes. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. If you believe something in the game infringes your rights, email kingdomclobbersupport@gmail.com.

9. Other companies

Kingdom Clobber is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple, Google, Stripe or Cloudflare. Payments, app stores and push notifications are provided by those companies under their own terms.

iPhone app: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product, intellectual-property or other claims about the app; we are, to the extent these Terms and the law say so. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies by law, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of restricted parties.

10. Push reminders

Streak reminders are optional and off until you turn them on. You can turn them off any time in Settings or your device settings.

11. The game is provided “as is”

Kingdom Clobber is for entertainment only. We work hard to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, change or have bugs, and progress can be lost. To the extent the law allows, the game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

12. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or virtual items, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$20. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived, or our liability where it can’t legally be limited.

13. Ending

You can stop playing at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. If we ever shut the game down, we will give reasonable notice in the game.

14. Disputes

If you have a problem, please email kingdomclobbersupport@gmail.com first; most issues can be fixed quickly, and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Kingdom Clobber is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in your local courts where the law allows.

15. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and for important changes we will tell you in the game. Continuing to play after an update means you accept it. If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the game.
